We believe that the Holy
Bible was (a) verbally and plenarily inspired by God; (b)
that it has truth without any admixture of error for its matter; that
consequently it is infallible and inerrant in all matters of which it
speaks; and (c) therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the
age, the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man; the
true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human
conduct, creeds and opinions should be tried.
(Explanatory)
1. By "THE HOLY
BIBLE" we mean that collection of sixty-six books, from Genesis to
Revelation, which, as originally written, does not only contain and convey
the Word of God, but IS the very Word of God.
2. By "INSPIRATION"
we mean that the books of the Bible were written by holy men of old, as
they were moved by the Holy Spirit, in such a definite way that their
writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as
no other writings have ever been or ever will be inspired.
3. We believe that
the Texts which are used are the closest to the original autographs of the
Bible are the Masoretic Hebrew Text for the Old Testament, and the Textus
Receptus Greek for the New Testament, and that the King James Version of
the English Bible is a true and faithful translation of the two preserved
Texts.

II Timothy 3:16, 17
"All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works."
2 Peter 1:19-21 "We have also a more sure word
of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that
shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in
your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of
any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but
holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
Acts 1:16 "Men and brethren, this scripture
must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David
spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus."
Acts 28:25 "And when they agreed
not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word,
Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers."
*** (b)
Psalms 119:160
"Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one
of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever."
Psalms 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and
a light unto my path."
Psalms 119:130 "The entrance of thy words giveth
light; it giveth understanding unto the simple."
Luke 24:25-27 "Then he said unto them, O
fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these
things, and to enter into his glory? 27
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all
the scriptures the things concerning himself."
John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth:
thy word is truth."
Luke 24:44, 45 "And he said unto them, These
are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all
things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in
the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the
scriptures."

Psalms 119:89 "For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled
in heaven."
Proverbs 30:5, 6 "Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee,
and thou be found a liar."
Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true,
but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in
thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged."
1 Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth
and abideth for ever."
Revelation 22:18, 19 "For I testify unto every
man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall
add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written
in this book: 19 And if any man shall
take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away
his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the
things which are written in this book."
John 12:48 "He that rejecteth me, and
receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have
spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."
Isaiah 8:20 "To the law and to the testimony:
if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light
in them."
Ephesians 6:17 "And take the helmet of
salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
Romans 15:4 "For whatsoever things were
written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience
and comfort of the scriptures might have hope."
Luke 16:31 "And he said unto him, If they hear
not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one
rose from the dead."
Psalms 19:7-11 "The law of the LORD is
perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making
wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD
are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure,
enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD
is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and
righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired
are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and
the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy
servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward."
John 5:45-47 "Do not think that I will accuse
you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye
trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye
would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47
But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?"
John 5:39 "Search the scriptures; for in them
ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."
