We believe the Genesis
account of creation, and (a) that it is to be accepted literally,
and not allegorically or figuratively; (b) that man was created
directly in God's own image and after His own likeness; (c) that
man's creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of
species, or development through interminable periods of time from lower to
higher forms; (d) that all animal and vegetable
life was made directly, and God's established law was they should bring
forth only "after their kind."

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
24 God that made the world and all things
therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in
temples made with hands; 25 Neither is
worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he
giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face
of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the
bounds of their habitation."

Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over

creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created
man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female
created he them."

because she was taken out of Man."
